Crime Reports Quick Tips

The Ottawa Police subscribe to the Crime Reports Mapping Tool. This is a website shows a map where clickable flags show the Police Calls that have been posted to the site.

Here is a quick tutorial to access Crime Reports:

Type in http://www.crimereports.com into your address bar,

or click the link on the right side of the page.

You will be connected to the Crime Reports site where you will type in “Richmond, ON” in the search box.

The map will now show you flags that you can click on to give you details about crime events.


You can also subscribe to Crime Reports. Click join the “Richmond Neighbourhood” to be sent updates when a new event is posted.
